Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI), Major General Mokhtar Abdel Latif, and Poland’s Ambassador to Cairo, Michał Murkociński, and an accompanying delegation, discussed on Thursday ways to foster industrial cooperation and attract investments.
During the meeting, the AOI chief offered the Organisation’s vision to deepen local manufacturing, increase the share of local components, transfer and localise technology, and train human resources using modern digital manufacturing systems.
Talks covered opportunities in key sectors such as defense and civilian industries, automotive, railways, eco-friendly transport, electronics, digital transformation, software, communications, IT, renewable energy, water treatment plants, medical industries, and furniture.
Abdel Latif emphasised AOI’s commitment to expanding cooperation with Poland and welcomed Polish companies interested in investing in Egypt, highlighting Egypt’s role as a strategic gateway to Middle Eastern, African, and Arab markets.
Ambassador Murkociński affirmed that Egypt offers an attractive environment for Polish investments and holds strategic importance in the region. He stressed the value of organising visits for major Polish companies to AOI’s factories to explore industrial and investment capabilities, supporting trade exchange and building promising industrial partnerships between the two countries.
