Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb expressed on Wednesday his solidarity with Pakistan over the flood victims in Pakistan.
During a meeting with Pakistani Health Minister Abdul Qadir Patel, Tayyeb offered condolences to the Pakistani people and government over the victims of this tragedy.
Meanwhile, Patel said that his country faces exceptional circumstances, which claimed the lives of thousands.
He further praised efforts exerted by Al Azhar to spread moderate teachings of Islam.
