Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Tuesday a copy of the Holy Quran presented by Al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb during a ceremony held by the Awqaf Ministry to celebrate Lailatulqadr.
Earlier, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attended the ceremony held at Al Manara International Conference Center in New Cairo on this occasion.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli, Speaker of the House of Representatives Hanfi Gebali, Speaker of the Senate Abdel Wahab Abdel Raziq, Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, in addition to a number of ministers and senior statesmen.
