A private plane carrying the football team of Al Ahly SC landed at Cairo airport on Monday.
Al Ahly team arrived from Morocco, where they played and beat Wydad in the African Champions League 3-2 on aggregate.
This is the 11th time that Al Ahly has clinched the title.
The plane was operated by EgyptAir.
Egyptian Ambassador to Morocco Yasser Othman has congratulated Al Ahly SC for winning the African Champions League.
The Egyptian team clinched the 11th title in its history after beating Morocco’s Wydad 3-2 on aggregate.
Othman, in statements to MENA on Monday, thanked the Moroccan authorities for the good organisation.
