A 40-truck aid convoy arrived at Rafah border terminal on Sunday upon the directives of Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb.
The aid includes medicines, foodstuffs and other relief materials.
In a statement, Al Azhar said the convoy comes as part of Beit El Zakat’s participation with Tahya Misr Fund in relief efforts to Gazans upon the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
This is the second aid convey to be sent by al Azhar as part of Save Gaza Campaign launched by Beit el Zakat from the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
