Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek el Moulla discussed with UAE Industry Minister and CEO of ADNOC Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber cooperation opportunities as the ADNOC officials said they are keen on enhancing investments in the Egyptian petroleum sector.
In statements during the meeting held on the sidelines of Moulla’s participation in the ADIPEC fair, the Egyptian minister hailed the deep-rooted economic relations and strategic partnership between Egypt and the UAE within the political leaderships’ directives.
He also lauded the UAE companies’ keenness on pumping more investments into the Egyptian markets, especially in the petroleum and gas fields.
While Jaber pointed out at the ADNOC priorities to invest in the Egyptian petroleum sector including distributing and marketing petroleum products.
During the meeting, they also discussed the participation of the UAE in the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27), especially the cutting emissions day that will be held for the first time in the conference’s history.
They also discussed the importance of cooperating to build on the outcome of the conference, particularly that the UAE will host the COP28 in 2023.
