Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit received on Sunday Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, currently on a three-day visit to Egypt.
Talks will tackle Arab-Japanese relations as well as the latest developments in the region.
Fumio will also meet with the Arab League council at the level of permanent delegates.
Egypt is the first leg of his four-nation Africa tour. This is Fumio’s first trip to the region since he took office in October 2021.
