About 7,000 tonnes of goods were handled at the different harbors of the Red Sea, the Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA) said in a statement Wednesday.

The imports included 3,500 tons of goods, 276 trucks, and 118 cars, while the exports included 3,500 tons of goods, 170 trucks and 69 cars, added the statement.

Safaga Port received two vessels, while another one set sail, according to the statement.

Some 1,550 tons of goods were handled at Nuweiba Port, it read.
