The 67th session of the executive office of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministers Council kicked off at the Arab League on Wednesday.
The meeting is chaired by Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy with member countries attending including Jordan, UAE, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Oman, Kuwait, Libya, Palestine and Egypt as this session’s president.
The AL, represented in Assistant Secretary General and Head of Social Affairs Sector Haifaa Abu Ghazala participated in the meeting.
In his opening address, Sobhy underscored the importance of holding the meeting in order to prepare for the 45th session of the Arab Youth and Sports Ministers Council on Thursday.
He hoped this ministerial session will be successful for the sake of Arab youth and athletes and the Arab world at large.
