CAIRO- A presidential pardoning committee continued efforts to release a new group of detainees held provisionally over cases not connected to violence or terrorism in coordination with the bodies concerned.
The committee said in a statement Monday that 30 prisoners held provisionally over cases unrelated to terrorism or violence will be released.
The committee thanked the Ministry of Interior, the Public Prosecution and the political parties over their efforts to render the pardoning process a success.
