CAIRO – Egyptian Higher Education Minister Ayman Ashour said Monday that work is underway to establish 17 new technology universities across Egypt.
Ashour was speaking during the First Technology Hackathon, which wrapped up work at October Technological University earlier today.
The minister inspected an exhibition that showcased students’ products and innovations, and listened to detailed explanations about the most distinguished of them.
Ashour was pleased with the innovations of the students in the different fields, noting that they cope with advanced technology systems.
