The Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs launched Thursday the official slogan of the ‘Egyptian Woman worth 100 Men’ initiative.
The slogan of the initiative, ‘The Power of Egyptian Women Abroad’, aims to involve Egyptian women abroad in supporting the ‘Decent Life’ project to improve the living conditions of in Egypt’s most deprived rural areas villages, Minister of Immigration and Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram said.
The slogan was devised by Jida el-Qersh, an Egyptian woman living in Germany.
El-Qersh works to spread awareness among Egyptian women abroad by using new media and the digital culture through her programme ‘Media and its Years’, which was established in 2018.
Makram said the initiative reflects Egypt’s appreciation for the prominent role played by Egyptian women in different foreign communities.
