Residential units in the Downtown New Alamein project are set to receive ‘Triple Play’ services and smart digital solutions following a strategic partnership between City Edge Developments and Vodafone Egypt. The move highlights the developer’s commitment to enhancing the customer experience through state-of-the-art digital telecommunications, supporting its vision to build smart, sustainable urban communities with high living standards.

Under the agreement, Vodafone Egypt will supply a comprehensive ‘Triple Play’ service package. This includes high-speed fibre-optic internet, high-definition television (HD TV) services, landline connections, and modern digital platforms tailored specifically for gated communities. The initiative aims to elevate the living experience by delivering advanced, reliable connectivity built on global quality standards.

Service rollout and subscription processing are scheduled to begin in the first week of August 2026. The initial phase will benefit 813 residential units delivered to date, out of a total of 1,320 fully finished units spread across 40 buildings, reflecting the project’s readiness to deliver world-class digital services.

The partnership aligns with City Edge Developments’ strategy of collaborating with industry leaders to provide integrated services that add tangible value for residents. Vodafone Egypt was selected for its extensive expertise and leadership in telecommunications particularly as a licensed provider of integrated connectivity for urban developments alongside its track record in delivering ‘Home Compound’ services to numerous residential and resort projects across Egypt.

Tamer Nasser, Chief Executive Officer of City Edge Developments, said: “At City Edge, we believe that the quality of life in our urban developments goes beyond architectural design or construction quality; it relies on offering an integrated ecosystem of smart services that meet our clients’ aspirations and keep pace with rapid technological progress. Our partnership with Vodafone Egypt marks an important step toward strengthening the digital infrastructure in the Downtown New Alamein project, providing residents with advanced, reliable connectivity that enhances their daily lives.

“This agreement forms part of our ongoing strategy to enhance post-delivery services and community management by partnering with top-tier industry experts. This ensures we deliver added value to our customers and reinforces City Edge projects as a model for integrated, smart urban communities.”

Karim Kamel, Head of Fixed Internet and Urban Communities at Vodafone Egypt, said:

“Vodafone Egypt strives to deploy the latest global technologies across various sectors, particularly as smart city services experience rapid growth worldwide. We are committed to staying ahead of these developments using our advanced technical expertise and state-of-the-art technological tools. In this context, Vodafone provides innovative digital platforms for gated communities. Expanding our tech services within the real estate sector aligns directly with the Digital Egypt initiative and Egypt Vision 2030, underscoring Vodafone Egypt’s leadership in providing high-quality, efficient integrated telecommunications.”

The agreement forms part of Vodafone Egypt’s strategy to expand its ‘Home Compound’ services across a growing number of new residential and resort communities throughout the country. By embedding cutting-edge technology into these developments, the company aims to offer a fully integrated residential experience that meets customer expectations and solidifies Downtown New Alamein’s position as one of the North Coast’s premier urban developments.
