Inertia, one of Egypt’s leading real estate developers, has won the African Property Real Estate Award 2021-2022 ” APA”, for its flagship project ” Jefaira” as the best mixed-use project in Egypt, owing to its unwavering dedication to fulfill the ongoing rising demand for mixed-use projects in Egypt. “APA” award is regarded as one of the most prestigious real estate awards in the region, and it recognises the significant contribution and superior performance of Inertia in implementing one of the company’s leading top-notch projects “Jefaira”.

Eng. Ahmed Adawy, CEO of Inertia, said “Winning this award is a significant addition to the company’s record of achievements, and an affirmation on implementing our urban development strategy, stemming from our belief in supporting the government in its 2030 vision of real estate sustainable urban development plan.

He also pointed out that “Jefaira occupies the largest and most significant part of the company’s current efforts, especially in light of the unprecedented urbanisation of the North Coast, which comes in parallel with the government plan in establishing new touristic destinations as the New Alamein”.

Jefaira owns the largest share of the company’s owned land portfolio and this was one of the reasons that qualified it to the APA awards. Jefaira will be among the fourth generation projects that achieve sustainability in an integrated manner and with a comprehensive concept, by focusing on the establishment of housing units suitable for residence throughout the year.

The project is located on an area of 5.8 mn sqm with a total investment of LE75 bn. The project is set to include between 12,000 and 14,000 housing units and 3000 to 4000 hotel rooms, as well as other non-residential components such as education and healthcare facilities, conference halls, sports clubs and multiple facilities. It is also worth mentioning that Inertia has launched four phases of the project for sale.
