The start of government relocation to the New Administrative Capital contributes strongly to increasing the local and foreign investors’ appetite to be there, and that the lands adjacent to the government district will be the most in demand from investors in the coming period, said Ahmed Zayed, Director of the Commercial Sector at Hometown Developments.
He explained that the relocation to the New Capital and the start of life there requires the provision of services, a matter that bolsters demand for the project before its implementation, pointing out that the state is implementing the stages and projects of the Administrative Capital according to a strong, well-thought-out plan and a clear vision.
He pointed out that the state has embarked in implementing the capital through several axes, namely the establishment of a strong network of infrastructure inside and outside the capital to connect it with surrounding cities, in addition to dedicating some neighbourhoods for government buildings, universities and housing units. The state has also achieved integration in the implemented projects and services provided to attract customers to live in the city.
‘It is expected for the volume of foreign investors in the New capital to increase during the coming period, whether for the opening administrative headquarters for companies or for exploiting  investment opportunities in the city,’ Zayed concluded.
