City Gate New Cairo is a fully integrated city with a strategic location in the heart of New Cairo. The project spans an area of 8.5 million square meters and is being developed as a comprehensive urban destination featuring a wide range of residential units, including villas and apartments, supported by an extensive network of services and facilities. The project includes schools, healthcare facilities, social and sports clubs, a medical complex, and a world-class business district, in addition to approximately 1.5 million square meters of green spaces and an international golf course. This reflects a development vision aimed at creating a modern, fully integrated urban community. The project is expected to generate more than 200,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, making it one of the most ambitious urban developments in Egypt.

Commenting on the contract award, Eng. Tarek Youssef, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Concrete Plus, said: “Winning the City Gate project reflects the strong confidence placed in Concrete Plus by leading real estate developers and underscores our extensive experience in delivering integrated residential developments in accordance with the highest technical and engineering standards, while maintaining strict adherence to agreed quality benchmarks and project timelines.”

Backed by decades of experience in high-end residential and mixed-use developments, Concrete Plus adopts a fully integrated project management approach that incorporates advanced quality control systems, optimized scheduling, and seamless coordination with consultants, specialized subcontractors, and client representatives, ensuring the successful delivery of projects in line with approved specifications.

The contract further reaffirms Concrete Plus’ commitment to implementing the highest standards of health and safety and adhering to environmental sustainability principles throughout all phases of project execution, in line with internationally recognized best practices in the construction industry.

Qatari Diar is one of the region’s leading real estate development companies, with a diverse portfolio of major projects across several regional and international markets, covering integrated residential, commercial, and hospitality developments. In Egypt, the company continues to strengthen its position as one of the country’s largest real estate developers, owning a land bank exceeding 60 million square meters and existing investments of more than USD 7 billion, distributed across several landmark projects. These include City Gate New Cairo, The St. Regis Cairo Hotel, New Giza, as well as other developments along the Red Sea coast and in Sharm El Sheikh, in addition to its new coastal project in the North Coast – Alam El Roum. Qatari Diar implements its projects in Egypt based on a strategic vision focused on developing integrated urban communities built on sustainability standards, high-quality design, and long-term planning, enhancing quality of life and supporting sustainable urban development.

The award of the City Gate New Cairo project represents a strategic addition to Concrete Plus’ project portfolio, strengthening its presence in both the local and regional markets and supporting its expansion strategy within the integrated urban development sector.
