CAIRO – Egyptian Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el-Saeed said on Saturday that 178 development projects are planned to be carried out in Port Said in the 2021/22 economic plan.
The volume of public investments allocated to Port Said amounts to EGP 17.9 billion, representing 5.1 per cent of the total public investments, the minister said in a report on the Citizen Investment Plan in Port Said.
She stressed that the plan reflects the State’s keenness to involve citizens in the efforts exerted to develop the planning and follow-up processes with the aim of achieving sustainable and comprehensive development.
The minister added that all development plans adopted by the State aim to improve the living conditions of citizens, noting that this goal will not be achieved without effective community participation in line with Egypt Vision 2030.
