Investors will soon be benefiting from the provisions of Presidential Decree 133/2023 in the form of simpler procedures for securing land for industrial use while addressing obstacles to the successful establishment and operation of their businesses.
This announcement by Industrial Development Authority (IDA) chief Dr Nahid Youssef came with the reassurance that as a result of the decree opportunities to expand in Egypt will be greater and local industry would be strengthened.
Between initial application and setting up the project a maximum period of six months should elapse during which the investor can demonstrate his level of commitment to his project, Youssef said.
