CAIRO– The Egyptian Manpower Ministry has announced the launch of an initiative to back small enterprises of the Egyptian community in the UAE.
The ministry’s labor representation office in the UAE said on Saturday that the second initiative has been launched in the Emirates Heritage Club’s Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi in co-operation with the Egyptian embassy in the UAE.
The launch ceremony was attended by Egypt’s ambassador to the UAE Sherif Eisa and a host of UAE respective officials.
The initiative aims to support expats, particularly women living abroad, under the directives of Manpower Minister Hassan Shehata to back the expats and remove any obstacles facing them abroad, said Hanan Shahien, head of the labor representation office in the UAE.
