Under the auspices of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) Egypt will take place on 10–11 November 2026 at the Sofitel Downtown Cairo Nile, bringing together investors, developers, hotel operators, government leaders and industry experts to explore the opportunities shaping Egypt’s next phase of hospitality, tourism and real estate growth.

Held under the theme “Where Heritage Inspires Investment,” FHS Egypt will provide a dedicated platform for investment dialogue, market intelligence, and strategic partnerships, connecting the stakeholders behind Egypt’s most significant hospitality opportunities.

Egypt currently leads Africa’s hotel development pipeline with 185 planned hotels and 45,984 rooms, representing 37.1% of the continent’s total pipeline. The country’s pipeline increased by 35.5% year-on-year, with 53 new hotel deals signed in 2025, highlighting the scale and pace of development taking place across the market.

Her Excellency Eng. Randa Al-Menshawy, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, stated:
“As Egypt continues to advance its urban development agenda and invest in the infrastructure and integrated communities that underpin sustainable economic growth, there is a growing opportunity to further unlock the potential of the tourism, hospitality and real estate sectors.

Our vision extends beyond developing physical infrastructure to creating integrated destinations that are attractive to investors, businesses and communities alike.

We are pleased to support the Future Hospitality Summit in Egypt, which provides an important platform for strengthening public-private sector dialogue, showcasing emerging investment opportunities, and fostering partnerships that can contribute to the sustainable development of Egypt’s tourism and urban landscape.”

Ali Shahid, Chief Executive Officer, The Bench, said:
“Egypt is entering an important new chapter for hospitality investment, with an expanding development pipeline, growing tourism demand and a market that is increasingly attracting international capital, developers and hotel operators.

FHS Egypt was created to bring these stakeholders together in one focused environment where opportunities can move from discussion to partnerships and investment.

We invite investors, developers, owners, operators and industry leaders from Egypt and international markets to join us on 10–11 November and be part of the conversations and connections shaping the country’s next generation of hospitality destinations.”

The summit will feature a senior line-up of speakers from across Egypt’s hospitality, tourism, investment and real estate ecosystem, alongside leading international hospitality organizations.

The summit is designed to give participants access to market intelligence, investment opportunities, strategic partnerships and the industry conversations shaping the next phase of hospitality growth.

Egypt’s tourism sector is also building strong momentum. According to Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, the country welcomed nearly 19 million tourists in 2025, representing a 21% increase over 2024, while the government expects arrivals to reach around 20 million in 2026.

UN Tourism reported that Egypt recorded a further 3% increase in international tourist arrivals during the first half of 2026 compared with the same period in 2025.

With tourism demand continuing to expand and hospitality development accelerating, FHS Egypt will bring the market’s leading stakeholders together to explore where the next opportunities lie and how investment can translate into Egypt’s next generation of destinations.
