Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities and urban Communities Assem el Gazar on Saturday confirmed the importance of the social housing law, which would guarantee decent houses for people.
In remarks during the inauguration of some housing projects in Badr City with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi attending, Gazar said the housing file is an issue of supply and demand.
The state has been focusing for years on supply only, but now the focus is on both supply and demand, he said.
