CAIRO – Egypt’s Fuel Automatic Pricing Committee has decided to raise fuel prices in local market.
In a statement on Friday, the committee said its decision will go into effect as of 8:00 a.m. (local time) on Friday.
The new prices are EGP 10 for a liter of 80-octane gasoline; EGP 11.50 for 92-octane, and EGP 12.50 for 95-octane, according to the statement.
The price of diesel fuel stood at EGP 8.25 per liter, added the statement.
