CAIRO – Egypt’s Public Business Sector Minister Mahmoud Esmat said the state is keen on supporting the industry sector and developing it in cooperation with the private sector as an active and key partner in achieving comprehensive economic development, enhancing local industries and scaling up the volume of exports.
During a meeting with Board Chairman of the Federation of Egyptian Industries Mohamed el Sewedi, Esmat said his ministry seeks to boost the partnership with the private sector as part of the State Ownership Policy Document.
In turn, Sewedi commended efforts exerted by the state to support the different industries and strengthening them locally, in addition to making it easy for investors to do business in the country.
