CAIRO – Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Tarek El Molla has discussed with Canadian Minister of Energy and Minerals Brian Jean means to boost cooperation between both countries in oil-linked domains.
They probed means to strengthen cooperation between both sides in the fields of green energy and hydrogen and the explorations and production of oil, gold and natural gas, in addition to sharing expertise and technologies on this score, according to a statement issued by the Petroleum Ministry.
The ministers mulled means to deal with challenges facing the petroleum sector and optimize the use of promising opportunities to explore for gold and minerals.
The meeting also focused on enhancing cooperation between Egyptian and Canadian companies operating in the petroleum sector, in addition to attracting more investments in the mining sector in Egypt.
