Dollar exchange rate stable at start of week’s transactions

CAIRO – The dollar exchange rate was stable on Sunday at the start of this week’s transactions at Egypt’s major banks.

At the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Arab African International Bank, United Bank of Egypt, Egyptian Arab Land Bank, Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt, Bank of Alexandria and Qatar National Bank, the dollar rate registered EGP 47.94 for buying and EGP 48.04 for selling.

The euro prices inched up to 51.81 for buying and 52.08 for selling, while the pound sterling registered EGP 61.14 for buying and EGP 61.57 for selling

The Kuwaiti dinar price stood at 155.82 for buying and 156.98 for selling, the Saudi riyal registered 12.78 for buying and 12.80 for selling.
