CAIRO – The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said Monday that remittances of Egyptians working abroad increased by dlrs 2.8 billion to reach dlrs 29.6 billion during 2020, representing a rise of 10.5 percent compared to 2019.
In a statement on Monday, CBE said the rise in remittances during the period from October to December 2020 increased by dlrs 529.2 million, to record dlrs 7.5 billion up from dlrs 7 billion during the same period of the previous year.
