HURGHADA, Egypt – Ten ships anchored at Red Sea harbors while 16,000 tons of goods were being handled, including commodities, 757 trucks and 98 cars, the Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA) said in a statement on Friday.
Imports included 7,000 tons of goods, 427 trucks and 46 cars and exports included 9,000 tons of goods, 330 trucks and 52 cars, the statement said.
Two ships arrived at Safaga Port and one vessel set sail, it added.
As many as 1,132 passengers arrived at and departed from the authority’s ports, according to the statement.
