The Egyptian House of Representatives, under Dr. Hanfi el Gebali, gave on Monday its final approval on a bill presented by the government on restoring the Daylight saving time (DST) system.
On March 19, the House referred the draft law to a joint committee of the local administration committee and the offices of the constitutional and legislative affairs, to study it.
Daylight saving time (DST) has been restored in Egypt. Clocks across the country will go forward by one hour on the last Friday of April at 00:00 UTC+2:00 and will end on the last Thursday in October.
