The Egyptian state believes in the importance of empowering women politically, economically and socially, said Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala El Said Sunday.
During a meeting with Secretary General of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM) Nivene Othman to discuss the role of the council in implementing national projects for women, the minister described the woman as the pillar and the cornerstone of building a healthy and sound society.
Minister Said added that women receive unprecedented political support from the state, saying the government gives priority to gender equality as part of the 2030 Egypt vision.
