CAIRO/BAGHDAD – Parliament Speaker Hanafy Gebaly asserted that Egypt formulated a comprehensive vision to save the Arab countries from the clutches of chaos on the basis of maintaining the structure and unity of the Arab states and total rejection of any foreign interference in the internal affairs of the Arab world.
This came during Gebaly’s word addressing the 34th conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Baghdad on Arab support to boost Iraq’s stability and sovereignty.
Egypt has always supported Iraq at all levels as it is one of the cornerstones of Arab stability and security, he said.
Egypt totally rejects any foreign interference in the Iraqi affairs, he said, urging the Arab countries to support Iraq and side with it.
