CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy, in a phone call with weightlifter Nahla Ramadan, checked on her health and followed up all the measures taken during her treatment in Alexandria, wishing the weightlifting champion speedy recovery.
Sobhy authorized a committee from the Ministry of Youth and Sports to present a daily report about the condition of Ramadan and the ministry will shoulder all her treatment costs.
The weightlifter suffers from Mediterranean fever, which caused serious bleeding and lupus which led to stiff joints and loss of ability to move as well as muscle atrophy.
