The UN Climate Conference in Sharm el-Sheikh in November made 30 recommendations to counter climate change, the minister said, calling for continued work and co-ordination among various countries to mitigate the impact of climate change.
All potentials and technologies must be harnessed to secure a swift transition to the green economy with the necessary funding, the minister added.
New technologies help reduce emissions, requiring collaboration to discuss practical solutions to develop sustainability in industry, energy, transport, agriculture and waste management, Fouad said, referring to nature-based solutions.
The minister highlighted climate policies and future prospects within the framework of sustainable development goals 2030, the National Strategy for Climate Change 2050, and the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence.
