Egypt is keen on supporting the Arab youth and hosting them in the various programs and joint Arab projects, said Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi.
This year will be full of Arab youth events in Egypt as part of the Arab Youth Year’s activities, said Sobhi, who is also the president of the executive office of the Council of Arab Ministers for Youth and Sports, during his meeting on Tuesday with Assistant Secretary General, Head of the Social Affairs Sector at the Arab League Haifa Abu Ghazaleh.
The meeting was held to discuss the ongoing preparations regarding the programs and activities that will be implemented during the current year as part of the proceedings of the 2023 Arab youth year, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The meeting also tackled preparations for the 46th Council of Arab Ministers for Youth and Sports, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia in March.
In press statements, Sobhi lauded the constructive co-operation between the Arab youth and sports ministers and their drive to promote cooperation among the Arab countries through implementing joint youth and sports projects throughout the year.
Sobhi stressed the need of drawing up a mechanism to promote the Arab activities to provide the necessary support for them.
