Official to MENA: High demand on Egyptian agriculture products in global markets

CAIRO – Head of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine Ahmed el Attar said that the Egyptian agriculture products are very popular in the global markets due to its high quality.

In statements to MENA on Friday, Attar said that the most important Egyptian agricultural exports are citrus fruits, potatoes, fresh onions, grapes, fresh tomatoes, sweet potatoes, strawberries, fresh beans, guava, garlic, mangoes, watermelons, and pomegranates.

As per a report presented by Attar to Agriculture Minister El Sayyed El Qusseir, Egypt’s exports of agricultural products to world countries registered 6.432 million tons from January 2022 to December 2022, compared to 5.640 million tons during the same period of 2021.
