The exchange rate of the US dollar slightly went down by 15 piasters during today’s mid transactions at public and privately-owned banks.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Banque Misr, the dollar rate recorded LE29.35 for buying and LE29.40 for selling.
The dollar rate also registered LE29.36 for buying and LE29.46 for selling at the Commercial International Bank (CIB).
At the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), the dollar price was traded at LE29.52 for buying and LE29.62 for selling.
Board Chairman of Banque Misr said in statements that the offer of the new one-year maturity saving certificates with a 25 per cent yield will be terminated within days or by the end of January at most
