Kuwait’s Al Anba Newspaper highlighted on Wednesday President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to the government to strictly commit to tightening control over agriculture exports to produce corps with distinguished quality.
President Sisi ordered exclusively depending on entities affiliated with the coding system of the Egyptian Agricultural Quarantine and applying importing standards for selected crops, in line with each country’s measures, the paper added.
The newspaper noted that Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said President Sisi’s instructions came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and a number of officials, as part of the president’s follow up on the Egyptian agriculture exports system process.
During the meeting, President Sisi was briefed on the latest developments introduced to the system, especially measures governing export procedures and new coding system, it said.
The paper pointed out to President Sisi ‘s instruction to the government to offer a worthy wheat price for local farmers to make sure they make a good profit.
