The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority, Cairo and Borg el-Arab airports have passed International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) inspection.
Egypt obtained a level higher than the global average evaluation for air safety and security standards, earning praise of ICAO inspection team leader Karen Zadoyan.
Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas said this confirms that Egypt applies the highest air safety and security standards in all aspects of civil aviation.
