ASWAN, Upper Egypt – Egypt’s Planning and Economic Development Minister Hala el Saeed praised the historical and deeply-rooted Egyptian-UAE relations as she inaugurated on Thursday an integrated government services center in Aswan.
El Saeed made her remarks during a speech she delivered at an official banquet, held at Philae temple complex, to celebrate the inauguration of the center in Aswan governorate, in Upper Egypt, with the presence of UAE Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah al-Gergawi, Local Development Minister Hisham Amna, Aswan Governor Ashraf Attia, renowned heart surgeon Dr. Magdi Yacoub, and others.
The center’s establishment mirrors the distinguished ties, binding both countries, Saeed said.
She pointed out that Egypt is keen on developing and easing the performance of all the government services to achieve efficiency, transparency and integrity while providing a better and faster service to the Egyptian citizens, amid the country’s endeavor to fulfill the goals of the sustainable development strategy “Egypt Vision 2030”.
