Minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Abbas issued a decree on Sunday appointing Mohamed Heiba as Chairman of the Financial Holding Company Sayyaf (ASG).
Heiba had been elevated in several EgyptAir leading positions.
He was appointed as a financial advisor to the minister of civil aviation, before he assumed the chair of the holding company ASG, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, which was established with the aim of investing the funds of the Civil Aviation Support and Development Fund.
