CAIRO – Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant-General Osama Askar said the Armed Forces are keen on following up the executive status of projects of Decent Life (Haya Karima) Initiative to upgrade rural areas and villages across Egypt.
During a meeting with Sharqia Governor Mamdouh Ghorab and representatives of a number of ministries and State bodies, the chief of staff reviewed the work progress at Haya Karima-related ventures in Sharqia, including all phases that have been finalized, along with ongoing projects.
Ways to remove obstacles impeding implementation of ventures, in coordination with concerned bodies and in line with a set timeframe figured high during the meeting.
Askr said all drives are meant to ensure carrying out
prospected ventures as scheduled to ensure the quality of services offered to citizens, and their well-being.
Taking part in the meeting were a number of representatives from the various ministries, including the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, as well as a number of affiliated State bodies and Armed Forces Engineering Authority officials .
