Egypt’s State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Mostafa issued a decision on Tuesday appointing Engineer Dina Abdel Moneim as the Board Chairperson of Shubra Engineering Industries/Factory 27.
Engineer Dina obtained a bachelor of electrical power and machinery engineering. She also got a master’s degree in automatic control, said spokesperson and media advisor of the state minister for military production Mohamed Eid Bakr.
Joining the military production ministry in 1998 as a maintenance engineer at one of its affiliated companies, Dina moved up the ranks and held a number of senior posts, finishing as the assistant minister for development and follow-up, he added.
Today’s decision made Engineer Dina the first woman to be elected to the board chairman of Shubra Engineering Industries/Factory 2, he further said.
The decision came as per directives issued by the minister to embrace the values of equal opportunities, affirmed the spokesman.
