ALEXANDRIA, Egypt – Egypt’s Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Hani Sweilam said 38 per cent of a channel sending agricultural wastewater of western Delta to the Hammam wastewater treatment station was accomplished.

He made the remarks on Friday during a tour in Alexandria to inspect water and irrigation projects.

During the tour, he held a meeting with engineering, technicians and representatives of the company in charge of implementing the project.

He lauded the great efforts exerted in the project, encouraging those working on it to do their best.
