CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of Soor Magra el-Oyoun development project, while maintaining its historical construction features.
He made the remarks on Monday while inspecting the progress realised so far in the project.
The premier was accompanied by Housing Minister Asem Gazar, Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and a number of officials.
Housing Minister Asem Gazar said the project includes establishing 79 buildings on a total area of 95 feddans in addition to establishing a shopping mall.
He noted that two buildings of the project were part of Beit al Watan programme and their units were all sold to Egyptian expats who were interested in getting apartments in this historical area.
