German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Wednesday Germany’s deep appreciation for the Egyptian role in brokering the ceasefire in the Palestinian territories.
This came during a video call President Sisi received yesterday from the Chancellor Merkel, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the call, President Sisi expressed to Chancellor Merkel his appreciation for the great contribution she has made in developing bilateral relations between the two countries.
The two leaders also agreed on the importance of the departure of mercenaries and foreign militias from Libya.
