CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nivine Gamea and Secretary General of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce Abdulaziz Al- Mikhlafi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to open a regional bureau for the chamber in Cairo.
The Trade Ministry detailed in a statement on Thursday that the five-year agreement reflects good co-operation between the private sectors of Egypt and Germany.
The MoU, which was signed in the presence of a host of respective officials and diplomats, underlines the important role played by the chamber on creating direct contact between business communities of both countries, the note added.
The chamber will carry out several activities to realise its goals for enhancing trade and investment co-operation and coordination between Egypt and Germany.
For his part, Al-Mikhlafi lauded the signing of this MoU to strengthen the activities of the chamber in Egypt.
