President of Egypt Japan University of Science and Technology (EJUST), Dr Amr Adly said that the main objectives of the University’s strategic plan during the coming period are taken from the objectives of Egypt Vision 2030 in addition to UN strategic development goals (SDGs) and the African Agenda.
“It is not possible to put a well-studied local strategy without awareness of regional and international factors and national and international demographic predictions as well as national and international action needs,” Adly said.
“The university’s strategic plan is developed with the contribution of all members of the university during the past 6 months and approved by the Board of Trustees in December 2021 in a 130-page file that can be downloaded from the university’s website,” Adly told The Egyptian Gazette.
Adly thanked the Board of Trustees for its confidence and support and Dr Ahmed Al-Jawhari, the former president of the University for his achievements, stressing that EJUST leadership is determined to complete its development plan and take advantage of its previous achievements to achieve further successes at the local and international levels over the next four years.
