CAIRO – Egyptian State Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Nabila Makram witnessed Thursday the launch of an initiative dubbed “Speak up… Egypt is with you.”
The initiative, which was launched in co-operation with the Egyptian online mental health platform Shezlong, aims to provide psychological support to the young Egyptians abroad.
The proceedings began by screening a documentary film on the initiative and its goals as well as the steps to register on the online platform to receive necessary treatment.
Founded in 2014, Shezlong helps patients connect with licensed therapists through online video calls, and uses cognitive behavioral therapy to teach individuals how to manage stress and anxiety.
