24 container, cargo ships handled at Damietta Port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 24 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total volume of exported goods from the port reached 6,531 tons.

Meanwhile, the total volume of imported goods into the port recorded 47,376 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 293,370 tons.
