DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 24 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released on Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total volume of exported goods from the port reached 100,091 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 63,274 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 323,557 tons.
