Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli witnessed Wednesday the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Social Solidarity Ministry and the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance.
The protocol aims to expand the umbrella of comprehensive social protection by focusing on meeting the needs of the underprivileged people.
The protocol was signed by Finance Minister Mohamed Maeet, who also heads the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, and Social Solidarity Minister Nivine el Kabbag.
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Madbouli said that this protocol comes as part of the State’s efforts to provide the social protection needed to the different segments of citizens.
The protocol also aims to alleviate the burden shouldered by the citizens and to improve the quality of life for citizens, especially in light of the global economic crisis, added Madbouli.
